Meet Dr. Nate Aigner (Gunnison, CO)

Nate Aigner, O.D., received his Doctor of Optometry from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State University, graduating with highest distinction. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Northern Iowa, where he graduated summa cum laude.

After earning his degree, Dr. Aigner completed a residency in ocular disease and primary eye care at the Marion Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Marion, Illinois. His clinical training included rotations at Eglin Air Force Base, a private ophthalmology and optometry surgical center, and the Native American Health Service.

With extensive training and experience, Dr. Aigner provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, including routine eye exams and the management of complex eye conditions. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Colorado Optometric Association.

Dr. Aigner became an optometrist because he wanted to help others experience the best vision possible. He enjoys improving his patients’ sight and quality of life every day. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, and exploring the natural beauty of Colorado.
